Policies

Back Shop + Home Health has a 30 day return or in store credit policy. Items returned within 15 days will be refunded in full based on meeting the criteria listed below. Items returned after 15 days will be issued a store credit only. In order for a refund and/or exchange to be valid, the product must meet the following criteria:

  • the product must be in its original, resalable condition
  • returned in its original packaging
  • with receipt (required at time of refund/exchange)

For hygienic and infectious disease control reasons, we cannot accept returns on items that have been in direct contact with the skin.  These items include, but are not restricted to:  Bathroom Safety items, Bracing, Bedding, ObusForme products, Cervical and Positioning Pillows, TENS units, Incontinence products, etc.   A no return policy exists for Custom Lift/Recline chairs. Under mitigating circumstances, there will be a 25% re-stocking fee for purchased lift/recline chairs; if approved by management.

The Back Shop + Home Health will return special-order items within 15 DAYS of the original purchase date provided they are in their original condition, original packaging and accompanied with the receipt. This policy will ALSO be contingent upon the third party return stipulations/regulations. The customer is responsible for any/all restocking fees (including shipping and/or customs brokerage charges).

Refunds will be granted the same way it was purchased, however if a refund is to be given in cash, every attempt will be made to reimburse in cash. If insufficient monies are available, a store cheque will be provided in the customer’s name.
